Bloomingdale Park

Bloomingdale Park

Bloomingdale Park is the "central park" of the South Shore

Staten Island’s newest addition to its vast park inventory, Bloomingdale park provides the first ballfields ever built on parks property south of Richmond Avenue.

Most of the 138-acre park was left natural and passive for wildlife. Walking trails have been included for hiking enthusiasts, as well as scenic waterways.

A portion of the park has been reshaped to offer a baseball field, softball field, soccer field, basketball courts and a playground.

A comfort station is also part of the amenities included in the new Bloomingdale Park, with stainless steel toilets and a modern ventilation system.
