The Nature Center at the Greenbelt

The Greenbelt is a nature preserve where unique woodlands, wetlands, and open fields will remain protected. Located in the central part of the Island, this contiguous expanse of land covers approximately 2,800 acres, making it Staten Island's largest park.

High Rock Park

Greenbelt Administration and hiking trails, a visitor center, education building and the Staten Island office of the NYC Urban Park Rangers.

William T. Davis Wildlife Refuge

The refuge consists of 260 acres of woodland and salt marsh devoted to nature atudy, conservation, and enjoyment of the outdoors. Available are extensive trails and a great variety of birds and small animals. Guided tours are given for school classes by advance reservation only.
